Raul was born in 1982 in one of the largest cities in Mexico, Monterrey Nuevo León. At an early age, he developed a passion for helping people, sports, and competing, which laid the foundation for the person he is today.

In 1992, his family and he migrated to Houston, Texas, where he later met and married his love and future business partner, Nathalie Olivares. By 2015, Raul had spent over a decade climbing the corporate ladder in the oil and gas industry, becoming a manufacturing engineer while finishing his studies and graduating from the University of Houston with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and an associate’s in criminalistics. Unfortunately, the industry took a hit, and Raul was laid off. It couldn’t have been at a worse time—his wife, Nathalie, was 37 weeks pregnant, expecting their 5th child.

Not a stranger to adversity, Raul decided to face it head-on and learn a new trade. With no prior knowledge or experience in the financial services industry, he decided to go in full-time. For the last 10 years, Raul has been helping families come up with a financial plan on how they can protect their assets while at the same time investing and planning for their future. All of this while teaching, empowering, and inspiring the next wave of leaders in the financial services industry.
